Well, it wasn't a trip for pleasure, but nonetheless....

This summer I drove my '84 300SD back from where it had been sitting in Maryland to my house in New Mexico. Total of about 2,400 miles the way I came, down the coast then over through Louisiana and I-10.

A/C wasn't working, drivers window would go down but not up, wiring problems meant I had to start it by jumping the terminal under the hood,
and the fuel shutoff didn't work so I had to use the stop lever every time.
