I lost 2 h.s. alumns (and friends of my brother) and good friends lost their father in the WTC. We just had a town-wide picnic this past Sunday with the Air Force band as entertainment in their memory. They've set up a foundation in their memory to improve the youth facilities in town since all three of them were very active in youth athletics.
It's amazing that I can remember every aspect of what I was doing that day.
Never forget, indeed. But we wouldn't want those pictures to be shown anymore
(directed at those in the media who think the pictures from that tragic event were inappropriate for us)
