Hi,

Both times only Benz parts were used. The first time it was rebuilt the transmission was slipping, this time it was rebuilt due to the band breaking.

The previous mechanic feels it is from doing a "holeshot", I assure you I have never done one in this cars lifetime. The person who rebuilt it this time feels the band was adjusted to tight, and the rear transmission mount needed to be replaced. Causing movement in the rear of the transmission.

I am just trying to find out why it broke, and how to prevent it from happening again. I put in synthetic fluid this time, though I am told that should make no difference.
