And when they were assembling the head to the cylinder, they let the head wrench slip and crack the lower cooling fin. That’s an aftermarket plug lead too. I say the thing is mounted on an aircraft that’s more show than work, as well. I might venture to say there is more than one engine mounted on the plane. But that’s stretching it a bit.
BTW - How do you like that Digital Rebel XT?

It is a cylinder from a radial engine.
The engine is mounted on an AT-6/SNJ Texan.
The plane is actually flown, on a regular basis, by the Southern California Wing of the CAF. The engine was recently overhauled.
So you and Kuan get the big price. I'll send you each a cap from the CAF. Give me a mailing address and you will get it.
Here is a link with info on the AT-6.

And here is a view of one of the "bottom" cylinders.
Regarding the Rebel XT. I like the camera very much. The XTi has some additional features which are nice, but since the camera was a preent from my kids, who am I to complain?
The camera body is on the small side, so if you are thinking of getting one, you should get the battery pack/handgrip.
It mounts at the bottom of the camera and it: 1. gives you additional juice to power the camera and take lots of flash pictures, 2. you can use regular AA batteries in case the lithium batteries run out of juice and 3. it makes it easier to hold the camera, especially when using long lenses.
