I have a lovely 88 300se. If I travel more than about 20km, then stop at lights etc, the engine idles unevenly, looses most power and "misfires" badly. If I turn engine off, problem corrects, for a few km's, then recurrs. I have changed petrol filter, added fuel cleaner, and cleaned connections of switches. Still have problem.
Any and all suggestions welcome please. I think engine heat plays a role, as it only ocurrs after running a while, and the longer it is turned off, the longer it takes for the problem to recurr.
