Great looking car, love that color. I personally don`t think you over paid for it. If you had to bring one up to the condition yours looks, it could cost you quite a bit.
check the oil cooler lines where they connect to the oil cooler.that end of them is rubber, and if they are the originals should be replaced. some say if they aren`t leaking they are ok. but if they are wet at the crimp, change them. feel the rubber, if it is hard, it`s time.

There is a great amount of knowledge here. several hundred yrs worth.
