Maybe one switch has been replaced in the past. On my 300SD, the seat switches are different...and the right door one has been changed to a later model. On the seat switch, stock has a spring and spherical cap contacting the butterfly brass strip. The later models have a ball-spring-ball arrangement that is harder than nell to get all arranged just so, in order to snap the cover back together. Bet you the same has happened to you...a later replacement switch.

Now to try and help. Do you have power going into the two switches? If so, just try and clean the butterfly brass with a pencil eraser and also the contact areas on the switch itself. Go to autozone and get some di-electric grease to put onto the butterflys to hold them in place for re-assembly. Might throw a dab onto the contacts also.

Also, are you sure your window motors are good. Try changing out the switches with a good known switch to see if that gets the motor to run. Just last week I had to replace the driver door motor. But I kept a couple of old junk yard motors to pull apart and I did combine all the parts for a good spare motor for future use. New motors are $140.00 or so and therefore it might be advantageous to pull a couple of junk yard dog motors to try and re-build a couple. One thing I did not investigate though, the rear motors are usually used less, and if they interchange, you might get those to do the job for you.
