I have a gift for giving people nicknames. They wouldn't make sense to list here because none of you know the people but most of them fit and stick quite well. It's a lot of fun.
I probably got my penchant for nicknames as a child. When you have my last name (Lipps) you are a target for nicknames, flattering and (mostly) otherwise. The only one that ever bothered me was Lipstick. Back in 4th grade use of that moniker was immediately followed by a whoopin'.
Call it Boy-named-Sue syndrome.
