Speed sensors on all 4 wheels..if the CC module sees a difference out of allowable tol. spec,. it will kick out the CC.
The faster the wheels spin [ higher MPH], the more sensitive the difference becomes. [which is why you noticed the problrm increases w/speed]
If all tires are the same , you want to check that the PSI of each is Identical.
