I have an om603 from an 87 300sdl. My mechanic said the lower half was bad. He made this diagnosis based upon a leak down test.

The engine is removed and the head removed. Both the head and the lower half are for sale. I don't know what the actual problem is with the lower half, but I do know the oil pan has a crack and leaks.

Make me an offer to take them away.
