From what I can tell the meter's plunger movement and adjustment has to be made after it is installed, manual shows adjustments and they dont look fun to me and I like DIY projects. For something that crutial to proper operation of so many other sytemss I would have a MB Bosch mech do it, probably not the dealer, but a good Bosch indy. I replaced the fuel distrib on a 90 190E and it involved plunger adjustments that were detailed and crutial to operation
