Am fairly certain you will have to first 'wipe" the memory of the cluster and then use SDS (MB laptop) to program the car to recognize the new cluster. It is not PNP.

Palo Alto Speedometer (Calif) can do it and also repair your missing pixels.

Probably easier to just have them reapir the original as it doesnt have to be reprogramed???
