What happened to MediaMatters? You seem to have drifted into The Zone.

Of course I have no proof, just the usual rumor mills. So what? I don't give a brown poopie if it is run by Georg Soros or James T Kirk. It is as unfair and unbalanced a source as one could hope for, if one is in search of inflammatory and defamatory effluvium with which to baste an opposing turkey.

Take for example this whole Limbaugh imbroglio. They assert as fact, that which is actually a supposition, and get a lot of play in the media. I think it is because they have such a wonderfully lofty sounding name and their self-description on their website is thoroughly innocuous. That is a marvelously executed operation of which James Dobson probably stews in envy.

Just as Limbaugh cannot lose by all of this attention, neither can MediaMatters. Both play to their natural constituency and both will gain audience and funding because there appaers to be a ceaseless stream of dupes and suckers who place inordinate value on opinions of others. They are the ones who fall for Nigerian scams, too, I'll bet.

F**k'em one and all.
