The film of the security contractors firing at vehicles randomly (the well known one with the rock n roll soundtrack) is of unclear origin but we have it on good authority that Blackwater regularly fires from moving vehicles and does not stop to check on results. Of course, it would be dangerous to do so but that fact is unlikely to persuade Iraqis to appreciate the good men from Blackwater.

See Kerry-Vietnam (actually, taser guy) thread in which it is given that armies are made of people and any population of people will commit crimes. Just because you live in Berkeley I don't automatically assume that you're a murdering rapist even though you have a violent crime rate of almost 60/100000 there. Thus I think it proper to not assume that because some soldiers commit crimes that all soldiers are criminals. This is evidently what the phony soldiers and their sycophants are trying to prove.
I don't wish you or anyone to take the above as any excuse for a soldier who commits a crime. They should be punished to the full extent.
