They probably couldn't understand what they are trying to type any more than if you were to write an e-mail in Russian or Portuguese. Even with a spell checker, they still wouldn't get the grammar correct or know what the proper words are for the situation.

Example, I got this one after listing my computer on craigslist last week.

Nobody in the USA uses the word "advert" and "how much will be your best offer" does not make any sence at all since the seller does not offer a price.

Seriously, people fall for such obvious scams?
