I dont know, its bearable but it does attract attention in the city especially downtown SF where the big buildings surrounding you echo the noise. all i get is ugly stares or people covering their faces from the diesel stench.
So far no cops have pulled me over for the noise (knock on wood) Altough if they are next to me and i pull off from a stop light they immediatly look at me and give me a nasty stare. And this massive W126 diesel wasnt built for high speed chases
All in all i like the straight pipe but i can get annoid of it with over an hour of driving and id want to get back into my quieter cars with the stock exhaust systems
