Yep mine was stubborn

it was a real tight

Rotor is burnt on tip
so its got some problem....what makes the tip burn?
cap looked pretty decent except most carbon was in # 8 area

Got off the rotor
the stem was rusty
I wiped rust brushed it w a brass brush
wiped all visible parts
wiped any carbon from housing

installed new rotor
was thinking maybe it should have lube but since its a spinning thing
I opted for the safe thing
just installed it out of the box
but figured cleaning the post & dis parts was a good thing...



new rotor was hard getting on
Anyway got it on all the way

I did not do any grease under cap or contacts under ther
hope thats ok

I have read dielectric grease in boots that go to plugs & cap...

It;s got 2 holes for prongs
Bet someone pulled the ICV
still its working pretty good to have none...
