This could a set a precedent where foreign law takes precedence over US law. It shouldn't fly because laws are made to be a foundation for the people (votes are the ultimate power, ha, ha) and treaties are written on the fly between nations. One who has the authority to agree to a treaty would be given supreme power over all laws. At that point The Declaration of Independence says that we must have another revolution. Then things get really messy.
