Yes, I've been watching -- definitely the quirkiest show in years, and it looks like nothing else on TV. The MB is black, with a cognac interior.

I'm pretty sure, though, that the car is a W108 or W109, 1968-1972. If it's a W108, it could be a 250S or 250SE, a 280S, -SE, or -SEL, or a 280SE or -SEL 4.5. If a 109, it could be any of several 300SELs, including (dare we whisper the name?) the fabled 6.3. I haven't yet seen a stern shot of the car, so I have no idea how it's badged.

Ned, the piemaker hero, owns his own business, so who's to say he couldn't afford to keep a 6.3 running? Or maybe he inherited it from his father?
