Entertaining for sure, but I think they half-ass half of the projects. HEY [1/2 x 1/2] = 1/4 I guess that means they quarter-ass it all the time
But seriously, contrary to popular Wiki-pinion Rudy did design his first engine (size of a small building) to run on coal dust. IIRC the museum display said, "..it then destroyed half a city block." There was a Daguerreotype picture with it - pretty gnarly. I guess that means you can put anything in it once.
