How much of her work as a Datch Parliment member is she doing over here? Sure, they offered her a job, with security as a perk that came with it, but is she still doing that job? One could argue that she, in spirit, if not in letter, quit that job when she came here. And if that's the case, I have no problem with the Dutch saying they'd stop covering her. You want the security, come back to work.

There are certain perks I have as an employee, but I would expect them to dry up in short order if I called my employer and told him that I wasn't going to be coming in any more. Oh sure, I'll still be an employee... I just won't come to the actual shop. I'll just stay where I want, doing what I feel serves me best, and occasionally calling in to offer my thoughts on a work related issue.

I'm thinking it would go over about as well as a fart in church, or possibly not quite that well.
