W126 ovr very rocky on base

Mine has a base in a box under hood

I would say it has excessive rock to it

know that can't be good
but don't know how bad

Its more likely the base is moving & prong still have connection
but its also a concern it could be causing intermittent contact

put in a new one just for insurance as old had 200 K on it
but like to know if thereis a problem why it rocks back & forth if you push it..
base is wobby

Is it a problem?
