As we crested a pass in the remote mountains of North Wales in our motorhome two RAF jets screamed just overhead, scaring the bejeezus out of us. They must have seen us crawling up the switchbacks and saw an opportunity to have some fun.
The only weirder experience was having a Harrier jumpjet do the same thing in southern England and then come to a stop in mid air about a half mile away.
