Hello,
I did a forum search and read up on the Castrol Syntec 5W-50 motor oil.

I realize it is MB recommended and that apparently it is not 'true' synthetic like euro made grades.

Since I have about 10 quarts I plan to use this on my 1995 C280 (approx 48K miles). This car has always used dino 20W-50. Changed oil every 3000-3500 miles. Car is City driven 98%. Low mileage car, low use.

No harsh winters here in San Francisco.

How many miles can I travel on this synthetic?
Can I double the mileage to change the oil after 6000 miles or safely endure more?
