The guy who went off on the whole mugging theory has since retracted the story and apologized for relying on rumors. He's clearly a knucklehead, but I don't see why this should reflect poorly on Randi Rhodes.

I don't guess it should, other than the whole guilt by association thing that I'm sure goes through peoples heads. Them being co-hosts or whatever. I've never listened to either of them.
Just seems to me to be another case of knee-jerk "right-wing-Bush-did-it-evil-vast-conspiracy-Cheney-Halliburton-Republican" type attitude which is the lens which so many people view the world through. Nothing really novel there.
I wonder if one can accuse one's self of a hate crime?
