It could be several things:

1.) Is your door light switch - the push button one in the front frame of the door - working cleanly and not sticking?

2.) Do you have any liquid crap (like winter salted snow melt, coffee or a soft drink) that got spilled and leaked under the sill? The sill can be very carefully levered up and out. There is a small two lead connector in the channel under the sill. Is it clean, not corroded and making good contact?

3.) The small DC->AC converter may be headed south. It is located behind the kick panel on the side next to your feet and is upstream of the small connector mentioned in #2. You can try switching the sills to see if the flicker follows the sill or remains at the same door. This will tell you whether or not it's the converter or the sill. CAUTION: Do NOT leave the door open with the sill disconnected from its lead for more than about 2 minutes; or you'll fry that converter for certain!!

If it's the converter, it's about a $50 part. If it's the sill itself, multiply that.

Obviously, check #'s 1 & 2 first.
