My 92 300CE Cruise control operates a little erratically. It will hold the speed for 10 minutes or 45 minutes, then drop out of cruise by itself. It seems to return to a Cruise "hold" if I let it rest for awhile. I haven't gotten into that system yet to check for obvious problems with linkage, etc., but wonder what the probable cause is for such happenings? Does anyone have a good suggestion in terms of the area(s) to check first? Thanks in advance.
