Thank you very much 97E300D and also Kadams for your infos.

Seems like the appropriate heater valve formerly in brass is now supplied in synthetic material.

Do these things have a temperature rating, I wonder? Good to know in case I find a valve in a local store.

One other thing. is the valve placed only on one hose that by passes the servo while the other servo hose is then patched and made to run direct
but also bypassing the servo?
