Well Its done guy's.
I just purchased the 1983 300D Turbo Diesel.
The car was sitting in a back yard garage and didn't start for almost a full year.I reconnected the battery and sat in the car,turn the ignition and waited a few moments then she started with out hesitation.Very little smoke no vibration from the engine,the vehicle has 210,000 original Kilometers.I verified all the paper work IE:Air Care millage it all adds up perfectly to the millage shown.So in miles it has a little more then 120,000 miles on it.
The person selling this car is the second owner,his mother bought this car brand new back in 1983,i have all of the original paper work all the maintenance done on it until 2002,all at a Mercedes Benz dealership.
I think I can say I'm pretty damn proud!
And the reason hes selling it?
Needs more room in his garage to store his sisters furniture...Can you believe that!
