well it turns out the driveshaft is demolished. It broke loose on the freeway and trashed the underside. Also it is a MB repair shop selling the car for a customer. They quoted the customer a few thou $$ too repair the car and the customer walked out and bought a new car. The customer asked the Indie to sell the car for whatever. I am surprised he did not want to buy it and repair it but I know what a pain that can be. I have not seen the car yet. He just returned my call today and assured me the wiring harness and head gasket are good. I have never had a MB with working air so I would not know how to use it anyway. I will for sure see the car tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions.
