O R . . .

you have the "few" that paid some con-artist 10, 20 or more-thousands of dollars to stuff a semi-trailer to over-flowing (ala: Nazi Consentration-camp style) and dump the survivors on our shores.

Or, you have foreign nationals COMING TO THE US BECAUSE THEIR GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM WON'T TAKE THEIR MONEY.

Ever hear of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.? Ever been there? I have. You have a Merry-Go-Round of the world rubbing your elbows in the hall-ways and elevators there. And that's just the doctors and nurses. You want to talk patients?
No, I've never been to the Mayo Clinic. Ever been to the hospital in New Delhi? There's a good chance you find a doctor who spent some time at Mayo.

Yeah, it sucks to be them, in their own country.
This is what makes you sound like you've never been outside the US. It seems you would be shocked to know that millions of people like their own country. People immigrate to the US, to Canada, to Europe, to Africa, and there are still people who like it back home.

Where ever that may be...and that also includes Canada. Sick? Take a number and hope the bologna you're carrying turns greener than your appendage while you wait your TURN for a CHANCE to see a doctor in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Last time I was in Canada, I didn't see people dying in line for the doctor. I did find plenty of Canadians who would never consider moving to the US, and many who would only do so for a few years.

If that isn't a glimpse at what the 3rd world experiences on a daily basis, then turn on the lights and open your front door. The guy sitting in the chair, next to you, may be from - not across the street, but from across the "pond" - like England or Germany. Or Moose Jaw itself.
The fact that people immigrate here is not a blanket condemnation of their own countries. Some people aren't happy with the way things are done at home, and some are.

Kerry fragged himself with a ricochetted bullet fragment, from his own weapon.

McCain spent years as a POW.

Don't ever try to convince me that Kerry's 3 Purple Hearts as the same as McCain's.
I wasn't in Vietnam, so the last thing I would do is judge one veteran's wounds over another's. I'd point out that Pat Tillman was shot by his own men, so I expect his purple heart in your mind is worth less than another Afghan war veteran's.

And, when a family is trotted out in front of the media, and NOT ONE PERSON QUESTIONS THE PEDIGREE OF WHAT'S BEING PRESENTED AS FACT, the 1st Amendment, as well as the "Freedom Of The Press" has been damaged, to the detriment of all free people in the world, living and dead, soldier and civilian, public and private, rich and poor.
There's a difference between questioning what's presented, and half assed blogger 'reporters' camping out outside the boy's home, making claims before proof.
Democrats have rebutted ther claims about the family
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1007/6278_Page2.html

"On Tuesday, Democrats released a point-by-point rebuttal of the criticisms of the Frost family, pointing out that the children were on scholarship to private school and paid only $500 annually for one child to attend, the family of six made only $45,000 in annual income and their property, which has a decent value now, was purchased for only $55,000 some 16 years ago, when the neighborhood was much less safe. And the state of Maryland verified that the Frost children should be eligible for SCHIP."

Also, lest you think the Dems are the only ones evil enough to use a kid,

"On a state level, Florida Democrats attacked Republican Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart for posing with handicapped Ukrainian kids at Miami’s Seaquarium on Monday after voting against the SCHIP measure last week, invoking Flipper in the process."

But, notice that the Dems haven't declared war on the handicapped children, instead attacking the Congressman.
