Today I disconnected the line from the fuel pump to the secondary filter and cranked the engine to see how much fuel was pumped. Although I made no measurements and took no photographs, I would guess that there is sufficient fuel available to do anything the engine wants to do.

The secondary fuel filter was new not too long ago and unless there is a clog in the fuel line between the filter and the IP, and lack-of-fuel problems would seem to be in the IP.

Tomorrow, the mechanic will have a look and I'll report what he finds.
