Great vehicle for driving on the highway. Due to transmission and engine torque characteristics, not too swift in the city unless you push it harder than it prefers. Too big to park comfortably in the city.

All parts are much more costly than what you currently spend on the W123. If you wish to maintain it properly, you're looking at $2K per year.........minimum. You can spend significantly more..............

Naturally, you can drive it and fix nothing.........should you choose to go that route, but, the driveability and reliability would not be up to standards.

A decent one has less than 150K on the clock and sells for $4K to $8K depending on condition.

The head is aluminum and is subject to cracks if it has ever been overheated in its past.
