Just my luck - the W129, W140, and W202 have a way to read the ATA diagnostic faults. They omitted this feature on my W124!
Unfortunately, I can't cause this hiccup on command. I have to wait until I'm asleep and have it wake me (and my neighbors) at 4am!
That, or inspect every switch that is involved in the system.
