Thank you MBDoc, that helps. I keep reading peoples posts about how their 190e or 300e starts "right up". Mine runs well and starts alright, but I was expecting it to start faster from the way others talked. Mine is probably fine then.
What might I check to "fix" the need to feather the gas at startup? It didnt need that prior to this month. The start time was 2-4 seconds but it started without touching the accelerator. Not is is usually needed to feather the gas one quick time to get it to start easily. The weather has not been that cold and the car is always in the garage. If it was cold the cold start valve would kick in and add the gas by itself and I wouldnt have to touch the gas then either.
