I got my new Beru Wires today and installed them. What I found out about the old wire set was that they, too were Beru. I wonder if they are OEM? as the wire sets had a plastic sleeve over each bank of wires. The end caps at the spark plugs were marked Beru. Now I wonder if these were The original wire set on this car.

On the 134-R refrigerant, I was informed today by the PO that in fact it was changed out at an indy MB shop in Glendora, CA. I asked about the seals and old mineral oil being replaced but he didn't know but he said it was expensive when the work was done.

I wonder if the indy shop still has the car in it's computer base, maybe I could get the service records that way. That shop serviced the car up until they parked it in 2003.
