I wouldn't worry about it. The Bosh are good wires too. And Enrique or one of his guys installed them. I don't know if the Beru are solid Wire or not. I think they are. I wire tied my wires too.
I did have a cut in one of the Dist. Cap plugs on the old set. and one came apart on the spark plug, the end that affixes to the spark plug, inside the metal boots came loose and stayed on the plug. So My wiring probably wasn't the best. I did have a slight miss that I don't hear now. My idle dropped a tish also. More like 750 RPM in park and just barely 600 in gear.

I truly believe that mine were OEM and they are 23 years old, not really hard but the dist. caps rubbers were beginning to crack. I have to do the belts soon too.
