It depends on how much you absorb and what your health is.
Little kids eat cigarette butts and end up in the hospital. Tobacco harvesters can end up with Green Tobacco Sickness if they are not careful in how they cut and hang the plant. Nicotine is a pretty potent poison. As with any poison the dose is what matters.
