We didn't get much snow. Maybe three or four inches, but it had people making snowmen, throwing snowballs, and skidding on black ice. One local school district here in Sonoma County was so goofy from seeing the white stuff, they called a "snow day" and closed all of the schools...
After the snow started to melt, we got freezing rain that quickly turned to hail and covered everything. The hail is still caught in the area of where my windshield wipers are on the Mercedes, and have frozen into a lump that has now immobilized the wipers.
