You could do that but it's gonna be loud and sound a little rice. Wouldn't hurt to try it though. I'd suggest you forget the tip for now and just straight pipe it and see how it sounds for a couple weeks. If your happy with it then buy and install the tip. If not you can easily add a muffler without waisting too much cash.
