Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged!

I know that I'm speaking for many of us here, but I am enjoying immensely reading about your weekly progress.

Regarding your girls, maybe you can turn off the gene or shut off the part of the brain that promotes promiscuity. lol. There was an article I read on the brain recently that mentioned that a part of the front cortex part of the brain that develops when kids become teenagers that encourages risk taking, and this may be part of promiscuity on the part of girls.

Are you going to the gtg at the Mission Viejo Mall on 2/9? I'd love to see the 560 if it is running. If not, I'd love to see your 280. I almost bought one down in Laguna Beach in 1992. I was this close (my fingers are about 2 cm apart). It was a 1972 280 SE 4.5, a light tan color, medium brown interior, flawless, but had well over 200,000 miles. Ran like a top, all of the receipts, original owner. The guy was retired military, fell in love with MB when he was stationed in Germany, married his wife there, and bought it brand new and owned it ever since. He also had a 280 SL in his garage. He wanted $6,000 back then, and wouldn't budge on the price. I went down there twice in a span of two months, but he was fixed on the price. I'm sure he must have eventually sold it by now.
I walked away from the deal, but have thought about it ever since. I wonder how practical and reliable one would be as a daily driver?

Thanks. Paul S.
