I just went through this noise under the car thing. It was real faint at first, butthe past couple months got a little louder. almost sounded like a snow tire type noise, and could feel a slight rumble in the go peddle.
replaced center support & brng on driveline, had looseness in it any way. problem still there. also one flex disc replaced.
got up to speed, turned off eng, put in neutral & coasted. noise still there.
noise will travel through the driveline from the rear end or trans. but maybe with the MB flex disc it would dappen it.
nouise started to be coming from the L/F, so changed the tire, still there.
pulled the rotor off to check the wheel bearings.
the inside wheel bearing was starting to come apart, had a high spot in the cage.
ordered parts from Phill, put them on yesterday. easy job.
I`ll take it down the hill today for a test run, hope that was it.
