I'm a newbie (first vintage car) , a 79' AMG 280Sl (euro). It has a 110.986 engine. Anyone else out there have this engine? Im hunting for the engine manual for it but meanwhile would appreciate any comment you may have on its strengths, weaknesses or general tips. She is idling too fast but ill get around to addressing that soon. thanks! jp
