I thought that, but cannot find any connection from the door to any vacuum system, that could effect engine Idle. My local MB mechanic of 30 years has not heard of it either.
This is my first Mercedes I love the car drives great, fast and solid as a brick.

My other problems I am working on.

No radio, cruise control id off for rebuild, and the most important..the ABS does not work, not really sure where to start there pretty expensive to just have the dealership work on that..the ABS controller thru them is $2k
