Neither am I, but he claims the bolt is frozen in place, with no spin on the filter........so the propane blow torch will do the trick on the bolt.
As long as there is no visible fuel in the top rim of the fuel filter........he's good to go with a propane blow torch bottle..
I have a bigger problem with so called novices calling this filter a "spin-on" filter, than with removing the bolt with heat from a propane blow torch.. This filter "spins-on" nothing. The filter is seated by tightening the bolt, not by "spinning it on.."
