I'm looking at getting a '79 242 for my next car.


The one I'm looking at has 245K miles, Type R cluster, little rust (needs paint) 4 on the floor with electronic overdrive. Interior is less than perfect, just needs some cleaning, front seats have some tears.


Anyone else deal with these cars? This would be my first Brick - a perfect daily driver. (does it seem worth the $2800 asking price?)
