What model years are you comparing.

I have a 1989 300TE that has been bullet-proof.

I have a 1998 E320 sedan that has also been bullet-proof and gets great gas mileage to boot.

I also own a 2002 C320 wagon. My daughter drives it and she likes it very much. As a thing-hauler, however, it is on the small side.
