rmt6668, Great pitures for the forum and archives. THANKS. that throttle actuator looks like the internal wire insulation could be re-insulated with 'liquid electrical tape' or something. Assuming the wires do not touch any metal under the insulation that can not be reached by the insulation fluid. This would be feasable if those internal wires can't be replaced and resoldered for some reason.

However ,I do not know how heat resistant the liquid electrical tape is.

Just ordered my new harness from Phil at Fastlane (with VIN reference to be sure) , so soon the '95 C280 will be back on the road.
