Both my AC and Fan switches are lit all the time (sounds alcoholic)...anyway, I have two bulbs behind that panel than snap into two clear plastic fixtures...those two fixtures deliver the light to all the controls on that panel. Mine is a different year, so I"m not sure if it would be the same as yours, but one light is on the bottom and the other is on the top.
