Just picked up an '86SDL with a busted tranny. Just over 300k on the clock. Starts and runs very well, body in great shape (no rust!), paint a little faded, interior pretty nice as well.

Paid $350.

Wondering what to do with it. Should I get a used transmission or a Sun Valley rebuilt and put it back on the road, or part it out?

I know there's nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes, but she's just so sweet sitting there. Kinda tears me up to pull her apart.
